knocking from wheel even on straight?
Discussion
Hello there, I've got a knocking from the front right of my Calibra, only noticeable at low speed, at first it was only in start-stop but more now when moving very slow, but even in a straight line (I'm under the impression that CV knocking only occurs with some steering angle on?) Not really a discernible frequency to it, sort of random.
Jacked up the corner in question and tried pushing the wheel round and had a look at the CV, nothing obviously wrong although what I imagine is the "inner CV"(?) seems to be missing its gaiter on the driver's side, but wheel didn't knock as I turned it by hand even with steering angle on.
No obvious clunk if I jump up and down on it (not while jacked!) but maybe my svelte frame can't quite match the loading of clattering down a typical British road.. so could it be some dead suspension bush, something anti-roll barish?
P.S. as I'm not sure of the problem I don't know whether it falls under "Suspension" or "Drivetrain"

Thanks again callyman
Don't know if that's the case, might be purely movement in the cross-member transfering through the chassis that I'm hearing, we'll see. If it is ARBs I'm less concerned, it's not the cause of the rather unpredictable handling I've been having, hopefuly that's down to the bushes I've half replaced (well, I supervised )
Seems most Calis I see these days have pretty extreme rear camber, are they all suffering the same issue as me?
