Just had a look on Ginetta's website to have a look at the G40R and they are no longer listing the F440 (think that's what it was called, the old Farash Arboud car).

Anyone know what the script is, are they no longer producing it?

The Farboud GTS?

Lawrence himself gave it quite a kicking in an interview I read a while back. I wonder if it is still not fit for mass consumption, and they've taken it off line to give it the attention it deserves around the race schedule?

Thats the one, mid engined V6 SC.

I do hope it see's the light of day, i loved the scaled down version just before Ginetta took it on board.

Not so much no longer producing it, more not yet started. LNT said he wouldn't release it until he is 100% happy with it and by all accounts he is pretty fussy about his cars! Possibly doesn't help that the development car was written off.

I was all ready for one - at the time a new Cayman cost about the same as the lowest spec GTS, and I liked the fact that the factory was 20 mins away from me.

I like the G40R, and hope it sells well, but I won't dip my toe into that pool until they are cheap enough to mess with.
