Ok I was on my way to work this morning and I went to switch to high beam but I used the wrong/left stalk. I found out if you push it away from you it gives one wipe of the wipers with no squirt of washer fluid.

That is all. biggrin

As I have a Mk 1 MX-5 and a BMW 318ti I spend most of my time trying to use the wrong stalk.

Remember that an MX-5 is Japanese, therefore it doesn't have lights, it has rights.

On the right stalk.

Funny, I have never had any issues with mixing up the stalk and drive a "normal" car as well as my MX-5.

I find it takes about 10 minutes to get used to them being on the Mk1 side (right) but when I get back into my Mk2
or Focus it takes weeks to get used to it being on the left again. I guess indicators on the right are just more natural (for me anyway).
