Deleting threads to get your own way
Right - now I understand.
I gather that the thread was removed as all 'for sale' threads are. That's the purpose of the classifieds after all. I expect Wayne assumed that it was me who removed it (it wasn't btw).

More surprised at you Paul given the slack Southern are given on here (recent open day thread for example).

In which case I'd suggest trying it from my perspective before fuelling the fire then. Logging into PH to find a thread calling you a nob'ed isn't exactly the best way to start the day!

Stig, my humble appologies for assuming it was you that had removed my thread from here regarding the dissposal of my trailer 
I did not even think that any other mods might patrol this forum.
I was having a somewhat stressful day yesterday and unfortuately made an unsubtantiated error and blamed an inocent individual in this instance.
However, I did think it extremely unfair that my post was removed as I took great pains NOT to advertise the fact that I might be selling said article.
I know how difficult it is to lay ones hands on a suitable moving device for these cars and was just trying to give any that may have found such a thing beneficial at whatever stage they may be at first dibs that's all.
I will be selling for less than I paid for it so am not making a proffit?
And lastly, cut the fellas some slack will you, we used to have fun on here: what happened?

)I'm sure you posted with the best intent, but anything that looks like an ad tends to get deleted and mods on PH are 'site wide' even though we all have our own 'special' little corners of gassing station to look after. The classifieds are a pretty essential source of revenue for PH, so it's no surprise that HM would rather everything go in there. I did have a bit of a sense of humour failure at some of the subsequent comments, but they weren't really helping things in anticipation of your response.
Re cutting of slack - you may not believe it but trust me, plenty of that in here already.
As for having fun - I hadn't realised it had stopped? Remember it was you who posted kicking off about it!
Anyway, hopefully that clears things up. I'll go back to flexing my cane
