Can anyone help, my colleague has managed to lock the keys to her car in the boot, it is a 2001 Ford Focus diesel, anyone got any idea how to unlock it?

I might try pulling the top of the door back, just wondered if there were any better or potentially less damaging methods. Colleague not keen on the brick idea...

Is there a spare set of keys available at home? You can use the fob to open the car over the phone.

Car is locked, she has just moved house so spare keys are there somewhere but no one else at home, just trying the AA now.

To be honest, with a car such as the Focus this probably won't work, I've no idea how strong the locks are on it.

When I locked my keys in the Escort a mate chipped off the window seal along the bottom, and with a suspiciously strong bent coathanger went through the inside of the door and pulled the lock up like that. Focus might have deadlocks though?

Sorry to spoil the thread but the reason I am with my colleague at this time of night is we are both working a 12 hr nightshirt in ambulance control! AA man came out and air pumped the door open...

Phone + fob

Put the phone near the car and somebody can press the fob next to the other phone from miles away.
