Details aren't there in entirety, but a well known collector and son of the president of Equatorial Guinea who lives in Paris has had his entire collection seized, believed on the grounds of them being the proceeds of crime. The only car that hasn't been seen to be taken yet that it is known he owns is a red Aston Martin One-77.

Makes you laugh when the manfacturers of these extremely limited edition hypercars claim that they will only sell them to their most respected customers. Most of them either go to crooks or dealers who supply the crooks.

Who cares where the money comes from, just hand it over matey!

Does the Maser have the ability to raise the front for driveways and such? Looks like it's activated and even then it's so low, would be ridiculous to drive in the city.

Which manufacturers claim that and where? Besides, why should cars be any different from anything else? They're a product, they're made to be sold, contrary to your apparent beliefs.

I think Fezza said that about the Enzo.

But it can obviously be sold on.

Ferraris are different because to promote the false sense of rarity and control the marketplace, they sell only to known Ferrari collectors. Has nothing to do with morals, really.

Including presumption of innocence until proven guilty? Fair trial- that sort of thing?

Or is your & the Paris police's presumption of guilt good enough?

Name me one country, whether western or otherwise, where the leaders are poor while the citizens swim in riches.

If Traffic Wardens looked more like this round here, I'd be less likely to push in to the path of dog st.

As for the collection, what happens to them, do the police sell them and "reinvest" the proceeds back to there own pockets crime prevention?

Absolutely. If only every government would do this.

Those cars were bought with blood money. They should be sold and the money used to care for victims of his father's hideous regime.
