LM 2012 ticket availability
Discussion
For the 2011 tickets, for the first time the ACO introduced an online purchase capability. I seem to recall it was introduced mid October 2010 and was available to ACO members exclusively for the first two weeks and then available to the public at large. However, I also remember it being a disaster to use and getting throught to what you wanted etc was a major probvlem. I hope it's been sorted for this October!

There has been a online option for the last couple of years. It was very limited until last year though.
Used it last year with no issues.
Was about time they got this system though rather than the old long winded on.
Having said that, I have always got the tickets I wanted and never had issues getting them from the ACO. The nightmare stories I had read before going to LM to do with tickets, I had expected the worse.

Had this reply today in response to my e-mail enquiry: -
Dear Sir, Dear Madam,
We don’t know the date of the bookings yet neither the procedure, neither the prices, don’t hesitate to have a look on our website.
You should receive a letter or an email from the ACO Club if you are a member to let you know.

Tickets 2 U have been in touch with me today with their confirmed availability & prices so maybe things are moving at the ACO, but then they're not known for behaving in a logical manner so who knows?
What the nice man did say was that the ACO have reduced the number of tickets per site by 10% for next year. Tertre Rouge had plenty of space on it last year despite being sold out, there must have been 30% fewer people than 4 or 5 years ago, why do they feel the need to knock the numbers back even more? But then we're back to the ACo and logic again.
I'm all booked anyway, out Sunday early, back Monday
