What, no cup holder?
Discussion
Having got fed up with nowhere to put my cup of coffee whilst driving the Tiv, I decided to do this little mod.

It cost £5.49 for the cup holder(Part# WL-DH02752) and £1.39 for a pair of mounting brackets (Part# SP181), from Wilco - it only needs 1 bracket though - so for a grand total of £6.88 I now don't have to drive with a hot cup of coffee perilously close to my wedding tackle!

I fixed one end of the bracket to the back of the holder - with a nut and bolt I had lying around - and the other end picked up on the dash panel bolt, so no drilling holes to fix it on, simples!!
As you can see it's even big enough to hold a pint glass...

Tony,
It really is very simple.
The bracket is a 90deg bracket, with one leg longer than the other. With the short leg, I put a cross head machine screw through so the head is on the "outside" of the bracket. I then put on a nyloc nut (I think it was M5) a did it up leaving it loose by a couple of threads. I then pushed the head of the screw into the slot in the back of the cup holder. This is where it is a bit of trial and error whereby you want to be able to push the head of the screw along the slot at the back of the cup holder, but the bracket needs to be quite tightly held against the cup holder.
Once I was happy with the bracket/cupholder assembly, I enlarged the width of the slot on the long leg of the bracket to allow it to take an M6 (as per the upper dash panel retaining bolt), I then undid the bolt that holds the top of the dash down, eased up the upper dash panel slid in the bracket and did up the nut.
Job done.
