My girlfriend collapsed and had a seizure on saturday morning so I missed the whole race, and we left at 4 on sunday. As a consequence I only shot about 50-60 photos in the whole trip, and those were on the friday.

A bit gutted I missed it and got so few photos, but the lady is ok thank god (bit of a bump on the head where she hit the ground when she collapsed).

Here are the few I got:

Ecellent photos! either You have a great eye for picking out good details and enhancing interesting colours or a carpet of rejects
I hope your girlfriend makes a full and quick recovery.

Superb as always Gravy. Its a shame you had to cut out late, I would have loved to see some of your shots of the race.

Bilko,
thanks for the comments: Ive got about 24 really bad ones from the trip (out of focus, missed the frame on an action shot etc.)

Amazingly my favourites, like the dax and the viper are straight out of the camera. Its amazing how the more I practice the easier it gets to see the details in a car. I'm always looking for stuff like badges, air vents, split-rims etc, then its just finding the right angle!

The other thing is which worries me slightly is that the brighter and harder the light, the better my camera performs. Must be something to do with the sensor.

The girlf has to see a neurologist and cant drive now. Apparently she has to wait a month for an appointment

Cheers

A private consultation will be about £175, if that's any help? Good luck.

Sorry to here about your girlfriend. Hope she recovers OK.

I know its not the same but by the end of the week Im sure there'll be thousands of LM pics available on PH.
You might even find one with you in it!

By the time I get mine back from being developed, everyone will have forgotten about Le Mans!

Nice shots btw, and I hope your girlfriend recovers OK too.

Very nice shots. I really like the style/composition. It's something I've tried to do in the past, but with little success. However, Goodwood is coming up, so plenty of opportunities to practise
