Mods please move this if it is in the wrong place.

I have 'never' had a company car or a new car for that matter.
I have tried to get out of it, but the answer is no.
All these cars have £124 per month tax to be taken off.
I have two seaters so I haven’t got a clue about any of these.

So I am asking the PH group which car?

  • Hyundai I30 Premium CRDi 115PS 5 dr 1.6 DT 6 sp
  • Kia C’eed 3 CRDi 5 dr 1.6 DT 6 sp
  • Ford Focus Titanium TDCi DPF 110 5 dr1.6 DT
  • Ford Fiesta Titanium TDCi 95 DPF 5 dr 1.6 DT
Any pros and cons greatly appreciated.

Most likely I would choose either the Kia or Hyundai of those (based purely on looks as none of them are mechanically appealing).

Test drive them all and see how you get on would be my recommendation.

Wow what a stty bunch of cars to choose from.
The best car out of that bunch which will allow you to have fun in the twistys is the focus, fiesta is too small (and will be too slow with 95bhp) the cee`d and the i30 just arent as good as the fords.
The focus titanium should be pretty well equipped as that is just about the top spec so I think u get cruise control which is a major bonus if you will be doing a lot of motorway miles

Yea, not great, but bottom rung of the ladder, so will get better with time.

Focus would be my first choice but I'd test drive the Cee'd first. Heard quite good things about the Kia but whether it's better than a Focus or not would be worth finding out.

got to be the focus or fiesta, fiesta is actually really good with the 95bhp engine, much quicker than people think. I'd probs have the focus as its a bit more comfy and if you've got 2 seaters then just have the focus as a comfy daily.

it has to be the focus without question although you need to just work out which of the two is better.

I was quite impressed with a C'eed hire car I had in Germany recently, felt very well screwed together. Default choice would be the Focus, but best to go drive and make your own mind up.

Not sure I can afford to keep the two seats at the moment. As this is the first time I have a copany car, I just don't know how good having one is on the old finance.

I'd test drive them all and ignore badge snobbery! The Kia and Hyundai will give you a lot of car for the money, and be fully kitted out.

Work will get a stunning discount on the fords hence they are in the same price bands as the other two.

Ok, I test drove the Fiesta today and it is differently a no. I did have some time in a Kia Cee'd and I have seen the inside of the Focus which is nice, but have not yet drove it.

I have taken out the pros which the cee'd and focus have, which leaves the following.

Pros for Cee'd
Slightly more unique
Love the pick up in second
Like the looks more than the Focus

Pros for the Focus
Start button
Anti-glare rear view mirror
Quick windscreen clear
Auto lights and windscreen wipers
Keyless start.

Cons for the Focus
Handbrake is horrible
Don't like the looks

What do people like about extra features? Are they useful? Bear in mind I have never had any of these features before, my cars have been very basic.

I'd have the Ceed from that list, I think the Focus needs more power

They all appear to be top spec cars, I would say the focus.

How can they all cost £124 per month in tax?

Tax is (to simplify) a function of CO2 emmissions bracket multiplied by list price.
