Its time to replace my wife's Elise for something more practical and luxurious, Top of the list at the moment is an SLK, preferably a 350, can’t run to a 55 with the price of fuel

Anyway, what do I need to look out for ? What are the common faults or expensive repairs?

Budget is up to 15K and looking for a car no older than 2006.

Cheers,
Kosmo.

Should get a decent low mile 57 reg for that. Build quality is excellent, generally, no weak points. Check the roof goes up or down in less than 25 secs with no roughness. Airscarf is a must if you plan having the roof down in winter.
