I'm sure i read on here about a mod to the hertz corvette which makes the exhaust sound better.

Did i dream this? Have managed to get one for our 'vacation' and i am very excited (and i dont ever usually get excited about much)

Sure i read it was a plug or fuse which had to be pulled?

Thanks

There is, but wasn't it for the ZHZ (yellow + black) Corvette, which they don't have any more. The ZHZ had the performance exhaust, whereas the new ones are standard.

Make sure you have very little luggage, as the convertible Corvette's they have now have virtually no space (enough for 1 small carry on type bag).

I thought they still were yellow, what are they like now?

I do have soft luggage, I did get the dimensions, iirc there's a fair bit of space but it's an awkward shape so we will have to literally ram it all in ( I hope)

They are standard red (or silver) convertibles. If you get a yellow + black one i would be surprised, and it will have 40k+ on it.

10inches high, which is very small!

It will be fun though! I had the Challenger R/T last week and it made me giggle like a child biggrin

Thanks Matt. I think we should be ok for space, i am taking lightweight travel holdalls which will compress down a hell of a lot, i think worst case is i may have to physically unpack everything into the boot and just ram it in hehe

Red or silver is still good, got to be better than some massive mondeo type thing anyway. Are they still over 400bhp ?

If it's the ZHZ then yes. smile

Have a good look in the passenger footwell and you'll find the fusebox. Pull out the Exhaust fuse and you're good to go! biggrin

Did that with my Merc. Just remember to take a few minutes to pack a night bag on the edge of town. Trying to find your smalls in the boot outside a plush hotel in Monaco ≠ cool

I'm here , got the car, is red and is fking awesome, goes pretty well

Can't believe the response it gets, had lots of glances, some comments and even some kids having their photo taken with it.

Luggage space with roof up is actually really good and we are fine with soft luggage.
