power steering

Hi guys im thinking of putting power stering on my 86 350i. will a rack off a 2.8 capri fit.? I already have the pump for a v8 and some hoses but unsure about the rack. cheers for any replies

Are the racks not a Cortina or SD1 ps rack, not sure about the Capri, it may depend upon the mounting points.

The original rack was certainly from the Cortina 2.3V6. If the SD1 or Capri rack had been usable you'd imagine TVR would have used them, after all the pump is from the SD1...
