I'm close to buying one of these. It's £3,000 but limited to about 1,000 units from memory. I like it but I need to see it up close and check the manual for any running issues (short battery life etc) before handing over the money.

What do we think? Likey, no likey?

I really like that.....not sure I'd be comfortable paying £3k for it though.

It's a nice looking watch but..... the price!! eek

Seriously if you have a spare £3k then go for it, I know I'd rather spend that sort of money on a P.O. cloud9

It's not the first time that Citizen have made an expensive watch, there have been various ones prior to this one.

What makes this watch so cool is that it updates it self from the satellites orbiting the earth. Therefore, you can receive an update every hour and anywhere in the world, providing you are in an open space. So no more regional radio updates etc.

It's a serious piece of kit in my opinion and I can totally understand the appeal.

Yes it's pricey but as far as I know, it's the only wristwatch available with that technology.

Impressive, but I'd be tempted to wait 12-18 mths and then buy one in Argos for £50.

Remember what the first Seiko Kinetic Chronos cost?

Slight exaggeration.

This, however, is a good point.
