Aussie Superleague Formula pilot John Martin set the pole time early in the session. There was a final flurry at the end, when John Gaw put the MJC Ferrari second, though five seconds off the Aquila's time.

I seem to remember the Aquila was blindingly fast last year, but reliability problems saw them into the pits several times within the first few hours.

If (and it's a big IF) they've got the reliability sorted, well, they look as though they could trounce everybody.

They also had to have a new exhaust built after scrutineering as the original one was to loud.

Anyone know if this evenings qualifying will be on radio silverstone online as would quite like to listern in, but putting it on now they only seem to be playing music?

Ah yes, this is the car that i saw which its wheel fell off last year at Brands coming out of paddock hill bend... off tomorrow, can't wait! (1st trip to SStone!)

If it does not have problems, It should be well up there for the win. But its a BIG IF! Everytime ive seen it, its had problems
