So I just dropped my barbell onto the supports in my rack while squatting, and it's bent at one end.
Does anyone have any recommendations for a good quality 20kg Olympic Bar, and online supplier for said item? Ideally 6ft.
This one was a 15kg Golds Gym one, and while it's been fine up until now, I'd really like to make sure the next one is able to comfortably handle whatever I want to put on it. It came as part of a 100kg set of weights, and putting 150kg on has always made me slightly nervous (especially as that completely fills the bar).
I'm also going to adjust the rack so that the supports are across the floor to prevent this happening again.
Does anyone else have experience with bent barbells? I'm wondering if this might still be useful for lighter lifting, or will it be too dangerous now that it's not straight?
