Valencia F1 where to sit

Hi, just wondered if anybody has been and had any thoughts on the best places to sit/watch.
I know its not the most exciting gp but my mate has a flat out there so we are going next year.

Any spots that are particularly bad?

I'd sit on a plane all the way to Italy to see the F1 at Monza personally.

At Valencia you may as well try and get a start/finishline ticket.

Up on top of the apartment block, with the totty in the tub, would seem to be more than adequate compensation for the historically dull race !

To be fair, it may be a dull race to watch on TV, but some of the newer circuits offer a much better live viewing experience. I've not been to Valencia, but I was at the Abu Dhabi GP a couple of years ago & it was a much better afternoon out than sitting, freezing cold on an old airfield in Northantx, stewing to see the cars in the distance. To give a comparison, at Abu Dhabi, we were maybe 50 feet from the cars as they braked into the Marina complex, whereas last time I was at the grandstand we were in was about 100m away from the track.

Face it, when you watch a GP live, it gets really bloody confusing when the running order starts changing through the outsells, so you may as well watch it in a pair of shorts, sipping a beer in the sun as opposed to trying to avoid hypothermia!

I know two people that have been at different times. They haven't been back, not are they planning to return. They both said it was rather dull

I've only been to Silverstone before, it can be boring there but F1 is an event and an occasion not just a race.

I just want to get the seats that see the best corner or as much of the cars as possible - thanks for your comments

Don't bother going to Valencia for the F1 it's completely rubbish. I went to the first one in 2008 and sat at the first corner which had terrible viewing, the staff were rude and fans were sold stale nasty food. As mentioned go to Monza and absorb the fantastic tifosi atmosphere and pretty park setting. The Spanish grand prix is a good one and great for viewing or go to Monaco and sit at Casino, it's brilliant
Just forget Valencia and enjoy it as a separate city break!
