Belongs to a mate...

Held together with bits of string and rivets but it's still a lovely car and surprisingly quick round a track

I saw a DB2 for sale a few years back, was cheap due to having a Jaguar XK engine not the Aston Martin engine, I was very tempted and wish now I had bought it.

String, rivets and all the more attractive for it.

They are cracking cars, I took this picture of VMF 65 earlier this year. Probably one of the most famous DB2s, VMF 65 is the ex-Works 1950 Aston Martin DB2 Team Car, Chassis no. LML/50/9 – as raced by such legendary and leading drivers as Stirling Moss, Peter Collins, Roy Salvadori, Tony Rolt, Lance Macklin, George Abecassis and Eric Thompson. Bonhams sold it at auction for £513,000 in May last year.
Just going to take my anorak off now rofl

Good to see one being used properly rather than sitting in a garage in it's pyjamas.
