Airbag Warning Symbol - MOT?

MOT is due and I have this on the dash. Am I right in thinking this is not an issue for passing the test? I need to fire up the diags software anyway to find out which one where so hopefully I'll be able to reset it.

Not testable at the moment, it is a new item to be introduced for 2012. There will be a 3 month probationary period on these new test items so until 01/04/12 they will be advised and after that, failed.

Oh dear, my 320td has had that on since i bought it. Time to get it fixed.

Mine was a duff front crash sensor. Simple to replace, but two small pins had corroded in the plug.

As there is no fix for this, short of a a new sub-loom, I got a mobile sparks to solder in two new pins.

Took four minutes and he charged me £55.
