just picked up my first tuscan after chimp cerb and griff ownership.

i love it.

just a couple of niggles, my gear stick is coming loose and whilst i suspect a grub screw somewhere needs tightening i cant find it and my rubber windscreen trim is coming away where the wipers just catch. whats the trick with resticking that ?

to recap.

the screw for me nob and how do i fix me trim.

excuse the vague double entendres.

bananaface.

welcome bananaface, lots of new owners!

The knob is screwed on to the stick if I remember right, there are a couple of posts but you need to search for hot knobs!

Yes - remove centre console, lift off carpeted panel over handbrake lever and gear knob.
Now you will see rubber gaiter over gearstick held by 4 off self tappers into trans tunnel and cable tie onto gearstick. Remove rubber gaiter - this will expose gear stick into anti-vibration mount.

The stick and anti-vibe mount is held onto stub coming out of 'box with a 4mm (?) allen grubscrew (which is probably loosened, causing shaft to rotate). Slacken the grubscrew off - apply a good squeeze of locktite thread sealant and then tighten up. Try NOT to disturb the 'orientation' of the anti-vibe mount/stick assembly as the bracket to the front of the asss'y actuates the reverse light switch. That should do the job!
