Rear view mirror, whats it from?

I managed to break the rear view mirror on my pre-cat the other day. Wondering if anyone knew what car it would be from so I might try get one down the breakers yard.

Can anybody remember the post that someone put up with a little aluminium s shaped post which raised the mirror's sightline up over folded hood,i've never been able to find it

Was this the pic. you wanted? It's just a Halfords blind-spot mirror screwed to a piece of aluminium and sprung into the windscreen channel.

I believe someone made a device to lift the main rearview mirror but unfortunately don't have any details.

I think someone like David Beer did something by turn the fixings upside down.... be about 5 - 6 years ago though

No it wasn't David.it was made of aluminium,a rough s shape which fitted into the original ball joint and lifted the mirror up a couple of inches so that it was higher than the folded roof,brilliant piece of kit that looked like Leven or Even TVR had made
