May not be as bad as first thought then!! They're pretty good over there. I'm a member of ENLROC and we get a pretty good discount on parts and many members trust their workshop which is a good advert. We quite often pile over on a Thursday evening for a cup of tea and chat with them all.
I've never used them to do jobs but know plenty of people who have. It is a bit surprising as they always seem to do a fair job at a fair price - probably more than some garages but they seem to know what they're doing. They also seem to be fairer once they get to know you. Perhaps they just don't need the work!! Glad my Landys are old enough for me to work on them myself

Nice!
Ive read that a few disco3's at your age have suffered cam failure, some others have had the crank bearings go.
As long as your happy with the new engine and you can get another 157k out of the engine then it should be good.
