Well what a great weekend! Fabulous weather and excellent racing.

So that we can continue to improve our services, please let us know your thoughts on the campsite.

(We know there was a problem with the showers early on Sunday morning, but we were able to resovle the issues quickly.)

Many thanks

Hello Brian

For us, the campsite was excellent. Close to the circuit, clean facilities and the staff on-site were helpful. We arrived at 8pm on Friday and were shown to our pitch. Someone had mistakenly occupied it and with no fuss, we ended up just swapping.

Cheers!

HI Brian, nice to have met you. The facilities were very good, well planned and organised.

Thank youclap

(Slightly O/T but are you doing the MotoGP next year as we will be camping for that too?)

Campsite was fantastic.

The campsite pitches were well laid out and easy to find (plus man on bike directing everybody to the correct pitch).
The pitches were good sized, enough room to get the tents in with a car.

The showers & Toilets were always clean. Only problem was lack of water in one block on Sunday, as you mentioned.
The correct amount of toilets etc IMO. Rarely a queue but always in use.

All the staff we spoke to were polite & friendly.

IMO it helped make the weekend a lot more enjoyable.

Excellent facilities no fuss apart from the rather amusing confusing number mix up when we arrived,we had a thoroughly enjojable stay. One of our group was asking you about the possibility of you doing a campsite at the N24 we would certainly book with you if you are able to sort that out.

Yes, I remember! Just need to make sure I hold the map up the right way round before counting out the pitches
wink

Will keep you posted about N24, definitely something we are considering for 2012

Camping was superb, pitch was perfect size, very friendly staff, facilities great, plenty of hot showers, and clearly plenty of effort being put in to keeping the facilities clean, tidy and working.

My only complaint, and it's quite trivial, was the proximity to the big Snoozebox generator for some of the pitches (mine included), which was fairly loud through Friday night. Thankfully Saturday night the faster cars did a nice job of masking the noise. (Well, that and I bought some ear plugs from the paddock...) I can't imagine there was much say about where that ended up anyway.

Only complaint was that our pitch seemed to have about 4cm of soil before hitting rubble, so was near enough impossible to get tent pegs in. Had to use big water bottles to hold the gazebo down.

Apart from that great.

That was your golf?! Bloody loved that car. So heartening to see you out there mixing it with Moslers et al. I was watching from the Silverstone Racing club in the late afternoon/early evening, and it was terrific to see the front running cars come steaming through with Le Mans night racing lighting rigs on, and then you. With what looked like not much more than main beam. biggrin

Me and the boys had a great time, don't know where the time went really. Camp was great and well organised but just one fault...it was too dusty and made a mess of the car!!!

Many thanks from the Van pushing blokes on Sunday Morning.

Yes, we did have one group at the top end of the campsite near the toilets and showers that, on the Friday night, did stretch the patience of many of their neighbours. They continued to get louder and louder with less than favourable language. We also heard the "discussion" between them and another group. We radioed to the overnight security team, who asked them to be more considerate and tone down their language and volume.

Our group spoke to the security team the next night about it. As we were right next to both of the parties.
Great weekend!

Edit:
Just to add, the toilet block was fantastic!

The toilets were the best I've seen at any motorsport event, the air freshener spray was a great touch and they were kept really clean and well stocked with bog roll and hand towels, outstanding stuff. That sort of thing really matters! I didn't use the showers myself but they too looked top-notch, the benefit of a small campsite, I guess.

As has been said, the number of toilets and showers was bang-on too. I never had to wait, but they were never empty either, so very efficient use there.

The site itself was in a fantastic position, the ground was bloody hard but that was hardly the fault of you guys! Even the security guards were nice guys. Couldn't fault any of it, to be honest, and the PH crowd were kept together well too. You will definitely be seeing us next year!

You drove it out?! That's absolutely brilliant! We really enjoyed seeing that car out there, as has been said, watching the Moslers and the Aquila come by, and then you guys soldiering on all the way through, was awesome. And definitely encouraging for those of us who want to be out there ourselves one day! Top job biggrin

We were pitched next to the '3am party'. That aside, it was a very well run campsite, Brian was very friendly and helpful. Toilets and showers as have been said, were just the job, no queues and hot water on tap (excuse the pun)

Good job
