So we've all got them (unless you've got a newish roof?) the little indents/creases/rips where the roof folds whilst its down. So mine aren't a problem, it doesn't leak or anything, but I'm weary that they may start to spread after frequent use.

I'm thinking of putting something on them to stop them from spreading? Glue? Duct tape? Or am I being too cautious and as long as the roof is folded correctly they shouldn't spread?

Cheers.

I'm lucky with my Eunos it's had a new mohair roof with glass screen. But my M3 has two cracks in the plastic screen where it folds. I don't think it helps that I have a hardtop so for 6months the roof is folded down. I just put two bits of clear sticky plastic over the splits to stop water getting in, seems to work.
