Anyone know any up and coming bands or artists that deserve a wider audience and some appreciation.

This one's of my friends - when I heard she was a bit of a singer, I just assumed she sang in a pub on Friday nights. Nope, it turns out she plays all the instruments, writes all the songs and sings pretty damn well too.

I listened to the Talanas album the other week, I quite enjoyed the music but couldnt get on with the vocals.
