Good evening all. This is our first visit to the MX5 forum. The wife has always loved em.Now she has a gorgious Wedgwood blue one.
But i always loved TVR's.So we had those for ten years, and loved every minute of it.Accepting all of the usual problems that comes with owning a factory built kit car.Yes i know what you are all thinking....Yes bits did fall off all the time.In fact we bought a brand new one.It was back at Castle TVR whithin a week,as most of the interior fell off, along with various electronic cantrol boxes that were stuck to the roof of the foot well.
So we decided to buy her what i regard as the best British sports car that the Japs ever made.
We have now bought a hard top for it,and are looking for a length of the edging strip that goes on the underside to protect the paint on the car.I've found it on *bay, but just wondererd if any of you guys might know where i can buy some.
Dave and Diane Smith.

Hi it's item number 160534757684.Under the name of...Hardtop rear edge protector strip. Not much more i can add to that! Help me out someone who knows what i'm asking for.
Do you own an MX5.......with a hard top? It just clips on to the lower rear edge so that it don't scratch the paint on the actual car itself.
Ta for answering anyway.

Is it the same as this: Genuine Mazda Hardtop Rear Weatherstrip, MX5 Mk1/2/2.5?
That's a touch more expensive that the on on ebay but is a genuine part so more likely to fit properly.

p.s. take a good look at that website - and wave goodbye to your bank account laugh
