Want a private track day!

Does anyone have any experience of organising their own private track day or could recommend anyone that would hoste one for me?

a group i go with rent out castle combe. Have to book about 6 months in adv. Think he pays about 7-8K and runs it at cost, or sometimes slight loss at £150 a head with about 40 - 50 cars. Give them a call, usually really helpfull,.........and weekdays are usually cheaper ! :-)

And we recently had a day at Coombe with Jonny with only 5 cars there!

It was like we had hired the track ourselves! (I suspect there should have been more there, lol)

I can't imagine just how complex it is to arrange a day on your own for all the reasons that he cites. Like so much in life I suspect everything is easy until something goes wrong on the day.

You could also try BHP. They run a lot at Castle Combe and seem to be competitively priced. Just had a cracking day there with them on Monday.

I've done it - not a trackday but a day on the wet handling course at Rockingham. Per the above, I did it via Jonny at Bookatrack. Worked out cheaper for me than me approaching Rockingham myself, I had the peace of mind of having BaT take car of all the organisation/admin/safety/co-ordination and I just had to rustle up my guest list and get all my mates there at the appropriate time.

Joe Macari used to host private days at Goodwood (mid-week). I think all in it was 5-6k for the day for up to 30 people.
