rhd to lhd conversion cerbera
Discussion
I know the cars and the Dealer who had done a few perfect LHD TVR conversions and it's really a big big and bigger work to do that in this perfection...!!!
I think, you'll get in trouble, when you do this the first time on your own... like the guy who try to sell that unfinished LHD project of a Cerbera...

Former Swiss official TVR importer made all the conversions from RHD to LHD. AFAIK none LHD were originally produced. I found 6 LHD Cerberas in the Register of my blog. Don't know how many were "semi-official".
I think such a conversion would be extremely expensive. I don't think the car, even if were very rare, could have a bigger value in the future.

I looked at this years ago when I was leaving the UK and wanted to take the car with me. The guys in Europe were crazy expensive and it was too much of a big job for us to do and trust me we did a lot of crazy things with my car.
It would be cheaper to be patient and keep your eye out for one of the left hand drives coming up for sale. They do fetch a 30% ish premium over a RHD but at least all the hard work is done and all you do is service it and drive it.

Today i have seen the Blue LHD Cerbera, to be honest, it did not look that nice... the dashboard at the passenger side is, i think too low. And the cockpit looks strange and i think too low as well... of course very nice that it is a LHD but it is just not a the mirror of the "RHD".I think such a conversion would be extremely expensive. the one i have seen has beige leather and the top of the dash is black (or very dark blue). they told me who did the conversion but i prefer not to put that here.I've seen all the LHD conversions from the swiss TVR importer and they had a perfect finish...!!!

the gap between the dark top of the dash and the beige rest of the dash was too big. the beige part was too low. but hey, still a LHD...

Although nemasis will confirm, I thought there were, in fact, four lhd versions produced by the factory.
Ummmm, why bother - have been driving mine over on the continent for 6 years and never had a prob. (does make a few people jump out of the way tho')
and, not to forget, i remember a fellow Cerb owner once saying that, for conti european owner, a RHD is sooo perfect for talking to the ladies on the sidewalkUmmmm, why bother - have been driving mine over on the continent for 6 years and never had a prob.
