According to Parkers the BMW Touring has 460L and the Merc Touring 475L but I have no idea what those figures represent (seats up, down or whatever)

For comparison the A4 Avant says 490L.

From a modified C63 to a 330D... frown

I haven't owned an E91 but have looked at quite a few (before buying a C class break, after my E39 M5), and the boot space is not as deep and a little more shallow, but not anything dramatic.

Good luck with the change of car (and power & engine sound!)

They are very similar.. BMW is slightly smaller but unless you regularly carry lots of very large items it's not a problem.

The rear wheel well intrude more on the e91 but the first foot of the boot is wider than the mb but then narrower between wheels. It looks very similar but if using pushchair ect the bm is better but little in it. I have bm dad has mb.
