Evo X usability
Discussion
Does anyone have a Evo X and use it quite regularly? Although I'm thinking about getting one as a second car, I would probably use it quite a lot, especially in the summer! I know it's not the normal type of question for the car but can the boot take a full set of golf clubs and equipment in? Play a lot and would like to be able to take the car!
Any other things about ownership I should know about? I reckon I'd want a 360, is the servicing a pain in the ass? I have had a TVR in the past so used to servicing costs being reasonably high!
Any info appreciated!

If you are getting it as a second car, I would look at the Evo X RS 360 from JRM.
Alternatively an Evo IX GT would be a more hardcore 2nd car too.
Yep bob on however these are the lightweight hardcore versions the other alternative is a hatch impreza however again go for the JDM SPEC C version its lighter and has loads of more goodies!Alternatively an Evo IX GT would be a more hardcore 2nd car too.

I had a Evo X 330sst as a daily driver for about a year.
Plenty of room for golf clubs and the family (4 adults) family.
They drive really well and are hugely chuckable/fun.
Easy to use as a dd, range is a bit of a pain if you don't like refuelling.
If you don't mind me asking, what was the reason for getting rid of it? Something bigger and better or was it a pain with servicing/reliability?Plenty of room for golf clubs and the family (4 adults) family.

Sorry for not getting back sooner re EvoX
I had no trouble mechanically with the car at all really and I loved the way it drove.
Had some interior rattles occasionally but nothing you couldn't live with (or find).
Main reason for moving on was less need for the five seater and more need for speed! I traded up to a 2010 GTR, subsequently modded further too. Evo was FQ (F - Quick) - GTR is mental fast by comparison on major roads and track. Around tight twisty B roads you'd be hard pressed to lose a 330sst in SS mode though IMO. However this link is worth a look, and its only a 300 sst.

I've just picked up a 330SST GSR to use daily. I chose it because it ticks all the boxes in terms of kit & power, but at a much reduced price to the normal BMW 335 / Audi S4 that I pick.
I'll see how I like it over the next 12 months, although I'm hoping it'll be a little better if it snows than the BMW was last year
