Glove Box Hinge

the RHS hinge of my glovebox seems to have come away from its fixing.

I had a quick feel around behind the box to see if I could see where it attached to but couldn't find anything...

Is there a bracket or some such that the lugs fit onto ?

bit stumped....

The hinge is just a bolt that goes through the side of the glovebox into a captive nut. Its a cap bolt so you need an Allen key to tigthen it up

I know, but what does it attach to, I had a feel around behind the box, couldn't seem to find anything that the bolt could feed into.

Is it a bracket of some sort (I was thinking it might be and had come loose) ?

As Colin said there's a captive bolt glassed into the tunnel somewhere, unless of course yours has pulled out/pushed through?

It should be simple, I dropped mine out to get at the heater valves and as has been said it's just a couple of big bolts through the lid into the dashboard.

All sorted now thanks guys.

I was looking in the wrong place (behind the tunnel) .

Took a torch and found the hole and rejoiced in the easiest fix ever (tm)
