Looking at a car for the other half which is at the other end of the country.

Now obviously i can't pop round and have a look and it is from an independant car dealer who i wouldn't trust as he is an car dealer.

So what is the best way to get it checked over.

I went down the AA inspection route years ago who pointed out a few small dents and broken bit of trim and completely missed the shot brakes, dead wishbone bushes and radiator leak.

Now have the AA improved or is there another method?

Use a local (to seller) specialist in that make.

It would help if you told us what sort of car and where as the answer will vary if it's a Polo or a Ferrari
