New tyres needed

This isn't another runflat/non runflat debate, nor is it BMW specific.

I need a new rear tyre on E90 as one has become ripped. They currently are runflats. My question is, do I need to replace both rear tyres, or can I get away with one?

The other tyre is in decent condition, and although probably 12 months + in age, it's got plenty of wear left in it.

You can get away with one if you are staying on runflats. Replace both if changing to non-runflats, or all four depending on who you believe.
