How do you stop a Cerb from leaking

Can anyone advise on the best way to stop water ingress into a Cerbera.

I've seen mention of a double seal arrangement for the doors but does it actually work and who supplies it?
All suggestions gratefully received as I don't want to have any more fish living in the footwell!

A list of water ingress points on the front offside on the Cerb.

1. The grommets which the throttle cable, water temperature capillary tube brake servo hose pass through
2. Clutch master cylinder cover
3. Pedal box securing bolts
4. Brake master cylinder reservoir bolts
5. Bolts securing bonnet stay rod bracket
6. Oil pipe union
7. Scuttle panel securing riv-nut
8. Brake block mounted on toe board
9. Grommets in floor pan
10. Bonnet release shaft
11. Windscreen
12. Bolts securing bonnet lock bracket
13. Door seals
14. Steering column bearing
15. Indicator side repeater

And the nearside footwell........

1. Wiring loom grommet or multiplug connector on early cars.
2. Grommet for wiper motor wiring
3. Wiper motor securing bolts
4. Expansion tank bracket securing bolts
5. Heater pipes
6. Battery tray securing bolts
7. MAP sensor pipe (barometric pressure pipe from rear l/h airbox)
8. Rivnut for scuttle panel
9. Windscreen

Mine is water tight unlike my old chim but isee some one has had a long battle making it this way as i can see old water ingress on parts of the carpets and lots of home made grommets and flaps everywhere.

sure it's the door seal?

On my car it doesn't seem to be the door seals but the windscreen seal/rubber going round the windscreen (on the outside). Close to the lower part of the A pillar on the driver's side, close to where the seal ends. After washing the car there is water coming out of the seal when I press on it (5-8cm strap). Somewhere through this area water seems to get inside drivers footwell and goes a) behind the carpeted pedal cover and b) into the vertical carpet on the right hand side of the driver's footwell (from behind). I have now dried everything but definitely need to seal the thing up to prevent damage.

Anyone any ideas how to do that? Does the windscreen seal need to come off? Or shall I just generously apply Sikaflex or Silicone under the windscreen seal?

Hope I am not highjacking this thread with my own problems but can imagine the initial poster could benefit from this as well. Or how do you know for sure it's the door seal?
