You know the rubber trim that the carpet tucks into around the inner door?

Well mine have kind of 'let go' of the carpets a bit, and being a navy blie carpet - all the fluff is white and looks rubbish...

I was considering a new carpet, but I have just had a good look - and the rest of the carpet is actually really smart.

So..

I tried pushing it back into the rubber thing, but in places it's just never ever going to reach.

Is there a wider version of the rubber thing I could re-fit to make it look nicer?

Or any smart ideas?

Also, how is the rubber seal normally held in place?

www.phoenixtrim.co.uk might also be worth a look.

Most annoying is, the carpet is about half an inch too short to cleanly get UNDER the trim, in a few places... but... it's pretty good everywhere else.

I can't pull it into place, grr.
