Ladies 1952 Vertex

My mum has a 1952 ladies vertex watch that she is thinking of selling .
Its in a gold case , squarish shape but with a circular dial , on a thin leather strap which is a leather lace that goes through a single carrier on the case .
Any ideas where i could look to find out a model no or just a bit more information ?.
It probably wasn't fantastically expensive but it is a distinctive piece and is in very good condition .
