Opticians or monthly lens question

I have monthly leave in lenses ( Air optix ) and I wonder if I wear them for, say, 1 week and put them in solution, how long will they keep? Can I keep them in solution for say a further 2 weeks and pop them back for 3 more weeks, or would I "loose" the 2 weeks out of eyes?

Sorry to jack the question....but along similar lines - any reason why daily lenses cant be worn for more than a single day? I use them for sport and its a bugger to wear a pair for a 2 hr game then have to bin them!

Jabb, I have done similar without problems.

Might be worth refreshing your solution a couple of times.

How long do you "store" them for? Do you just take them as 30 days, either in or out once opened?

I take it as approx 30 days wear and ignore the storage time.

If I can re-use them within the week, I will store 1-day contacts that have only been worn for a few hours in all-in-one solution.

Any longer than that and they seem to go excessively floppy, so don't feel comfortable enough to trust.

It must be air to them to make them floppy as they live in saline until you use them.
