330d vs 320d how does insurance / tax is compare?

im considering buying an E90 330d Touring but was wondering what the insurance / tax is like?
How much worse is it than the 320d?

no idea but i went through the same thought process. after about 5 mins went for 330d as i new that i would have that 'if i only' feeling if i went for the 320. insurance is just over 400, about 100 pounds more than a 10 yr old a3

My E46 330d is about £130-odd for six months tax and about £50 more per year to insure than a 2.0TDi Octavia. Vague help, I know!

Look on Parkers guide for the tax - it will depend if it is the efficent dymamics models you are looking at.

Insurance wise I went from a 120d to an E46 330d for no extra cost.

I went from a E92 320d to a E92 330d LCI ... tax was about £40 a year more and insurance the same.

Apparently the 320d has a high insurance rating for what it is as so many are crashed. The 330d though far quicker has a much better accident record according to my broker at the time thus doesn't cost much more to insure
