Top Wedge! Top Physique?
Discussion
We all spend a load of money and time on our Wedges and it is of course a good thing. After all, we want our Wedge in top condition, but what about the owners? Just imagine the sinario when the show season comes along next summer. A gleaming Wedge pulls up for the show in top mechanical condition and out steps a short fat balding guy with a beer belly. Don’t forget people look at the car initially but then they turn to see who owns it. This my friend is where some of us may fail. Well, what can we do about it you might ask? There is plenty we can do. I for one have joined the Gym and have started a regular and strict muscle building program. My aim is to turn all the fat in my body to muscle. When I step out of the Wedge next season, I want to resemble a triangle, wide at the top and narrow lower down. This will make me look taller, expose rippling muscles make me fitter and look generally smarter. Then and only then, will I be comparable to the smart appearance of the Wedge. Top Wedge, Top Physique. If all goes to plan and I manage to complete the programme sooner, I may even take the Wedge out on a snowy day with the top down wearing only a vest. How cool would that be? Well gentlemen, take a leaf out of my book. Get fit. A smart looking Wedge deserves a smart looking owner.
a triangle ? something a bit like this ? now I've heard about owners looking like their dogs......

also came across this 1991 FHC prototype when they were looking for a more forward-looking design, but luckily they decided to go with the Griff instead (and then finally saw sense with the Chimp - 3rd time lucky)

Well i've been running and going down the gym more or less for the last 20yrs or so on and off. Not big and don't want to be.
Big = heavy = slower runner
Big = more to turn to fat when you stop
Big = more stress on your heart and joints
I'm 6ft and 80kgs. Everything is in the right place and thats all i want............ oh..........
Except for the hair

Thats an insult to 99.9% of all wedge owners..Like the king my favourite snack is a pile of peanut butter and jelly sarnies..
..Maybe wholemeal is a healthier option..I cant see what shoes i wear anymore cos my darby is in the way...You might have a point..But dont go over doing gents..Remember the ole ticker aint what it used to be...Ziga. Well Mr Elvis i eat Parsley, some of us are deformed, short, fat with beer bellies oh and bald and deaf, cant see but at our age it's not as easy taking it off and having a trickle charge hooked up as well just incase the ticker slows down and incontinentals pants for all the travel we do, we dont have much choice nowadays BUT we're still young at heart to drive these Top Wedges.lol.
PS - next year i want to see you looking like Popeye at the Wedge Fest.
Cheers from the fat bastid.

My solution for the hair - wear a cool baseball cap with NASCAR spec shades when out wedging. My wife and daughter tell me I look better without a flowing barnet anyway so the hair thing isn't an issue. The height thing is cool - I'm 6ft 2. I love the way you can sink into a wedge with its long footwell. And as for the fitness - I'm ex-army and my focus has always been to have the stamina to do whatever is physically required even at 51 years of age - you don't get body builder types anyway in the forces unlike the Yanks who keel over after running half a mile!
However, being half Greek - I've noted that English blooded blokes of my age tend to look 10 years older than me and that includes the associated women who look even older!!!
So the moral of my post is that if you are aged 50 - look 60 with no hair or legs with a wife who looks 65 then it's time for a serious makeover to look good in a Wedge!!

Surely its impossible to drive a wedge with no legs or any car for that matter... I have come to realise being an ex-super male model that you dont have to look good to feel good..A wedge could make the elephant man smile..All this talk of being fit and looking dapper whilst driving a sports car sounds very eighties to me..Im 48 and have been told i look around 38..And im not bald, I just shave it really short cos ive tried growing it and ended up with a wafro..And yes if im honest i do need to shed a few hundred weight but looking at some of the people round here who go jogging over the park they look like they are late for their funeral..Maybe some steroids and viagra are in order..
