Yes I understand what the graphs mean, but I am wondering of what importance that metric is to anyone. They are comparing a phone with such cameras as a 5D. Apples and oranges.
It's like Toyota showing the same graph, but including Zondas, Ferraris and Porsches.
They're saying that the iPhone4 is used just as much/more than cameras, and so people DO use the camera on their phone. It's like Toyota showing the same graph, but including Zondas, Ferraris and Porsches.
They've just uprated the camera to 8mp, so I guess they're just trying to show that as people use the camera, they've made it better.

They didn't chose which cameras to compare it with. They just showed the top 5 devices by number of pictures taken. To compare with other - from our perspective more comparible devices, they would have had to manipulate the graph

That wasn't my point at all though, and I never said I didn't understand what the graph represented. All I was asking was, what is the relevence of that information? The metric is completely useless.fadeaway said:

They didn't compare devices with the total number of pictures taken though
