k! Feel sorry for the driver - BUT...
It you came across a muddy bubbling mess erupting from the road would you
drive through it.
You can imagine how much water is coming out from that pipe which is at least 300mm
or may be even bigger in diameter, it has lifted the road and washed out the grass bank as well.
Still plenty of overtime for the Veolia Water mains crews.

My old man just retired from 45 years at mid southern water and when i showed him this he said waht usually happens is the the main undercuts a big hole but the tarmac still supports it selfs until you have 1500kg of car go over it! hes seen it many times over and people always say the road was there a second a go, anf then boom in a hole!!!!It you came across a muddy bubbling mess erupting from the road would you
