Thanks for the feedback on the roadster. I've made the move.

Sticking with the reds - from Toro to Merlot. Gone from manual to SS.

Now where did that sun go???

Oof, just a couple of days too late for the weather! You'll love the cold clear days in winter though, heated seats and flying jacket smile

Pictures?

You don't need sun to enjoy your Roadster smile Pictures are of course mandatory - love the Toro and yet to see Merlot..

You know above about 40mph you don't even get wet when it's raining - the air passing over the top of the windscreen blows the rain away.

Only for a while... VOE smile

I drove all the way from Caen to Le Mans in the rain in my Marcos one year, roof off. I didn't drop below 40mph and nor did I stay dry!

Note quite
After the wipers have swept a couple of times it either runs along the top of the drivers window and dumps on your shoulder or just comes straight over the top and lands on the centre console rolleyes
One of the signs it is a coupe by design wink

Stil doesn't stop me keeping the roof down in light rain cool

OP congrats great car shame about the weather from today frown

Picked it up yesterday, and the sun came out! Having come from a manual, the SS takes a bit of getting used to, particularly when under hard acceleration (any tips?). Have done the clutch re-learn. But my oh my, what a drive!

Grange Aston prepped the car immaculately. Full marks to them.

Stunning colour well done.

I know what your saying under hard acceleration i can't get a smooth change im having some training on wed so hopefully improve.

Also could be in experience with these boxes lift off with your toes?

For me a step up from a manual despite this.

I love that interior with the Merlot; they compliment each other perfectly. Good work!

I'd be interested to hear your report of manual v SS after a few weeks of driving your new beast.

The trick with SS on hard accleration is lift just a little as you change the gear

OP looks great enjoy!

Do it yourself with fuse 22

I fitted a remote switch to bridge fuse 22 instead of removing it completely. It's quite tricky to find a good earth near the fusebox on a roadster - much easier on my old coupe.

Grange told me not to do fuse 22 as it records a fault everytime you go over 4000rpm, they have opened the valves on the exhausts for me but am a little worried in case its to noisey at low revs and then not sure how to put it back. Anyone going to the one-77 talk at basildon on wednesday ??

Most Dealers will scare you off unnecessarily. There will be no problem with noise at low revs either as it doesn't kick in until approx 3500 revs anyway smile

My DB9 never showed faults on the OBD II and it saw a lot of action over 4000 rpm.
