I need a pair of rear springs for my Mk1 but am getting a bit confused!
The car is an import, 1993 and some sort of special edition with Bilstein dampers fitted from new.
Some parts suppliers say Bilstein dampers need different springs but some say the springs are the same on all Mk1's.
I don't want to order the springs, find they don't fit when I've got the car in bits and then have the hassle of sending them back etc.
So can anyone give me a definitive answer, please!

I believe the 10mm lowering that billy equipped cars have was from the spring perch being lower, both mx5parts and autolink dont seem to give a difference between the springs.. if you give autolink a call they will be able to confirm..

I'll give them a call tomorrow and see what they say. http://www.autolinkmx5.com/shock-absorbers--spring...
I can't find it now but one place I looked at said the Bilstein dampers needed different springs - needless to say there was a large price difference!
Mark - I'll send you an email.
