Thanks for the heads up.

the original Comic strips were a bit esoteric at times but good fun nonetheless.

I like Ross Noble - very funny guy...other nominees would include..

Rhod Gilbert
Kevin Bridges

as part of the main cast..they can do dead pan really well...make me laugh anyways

Didn't think I'd be this much in the minority, but from the trailer it just doesn't appeal at all, although I may record it and give it the benefit of the doubt.

I remember the first series when it first aired and that was mostly dire and hasn't aged well at all. All IMHO of course. smile

I am PMSL at the portrayal of Gordon Brown. Life really does mirror art.

Absolutely hilarious.

Nigel Planar as Mandy was comedy genius and Stephen Mangan as Bliar was just perfect!

Just watching it on +1 after watching Karl on Sky 1. loving it so far, the John Smith stuff is echoing stuff that I thought at the time.

(back when it's finished)

ETA

Love the bit on the train when he looks in on the nuns, harp back to Fist Full Of Travellers Cheques.

Followed by a quick line about not being a 'real' socialist.

PC to Inspector in the back of the theatre "What did you think of Michael Benthall's Coriolanus" ..... Punch.

Well I laughed. Some good ideas and quite funny I thought.
