Chimeras @ low sale prices - worth it?

Hi to all - have been thinking about a weekend sports car (again!) Previously had a Lotus elan m100, and have considered a Z3 2.8 or S2000, but I am thinking for more theatre & occasion about a TVR. Have a budget in mind of about £5-6k so it will be the older end of the Chimera range from 1996 - 1998 I suppose - some of those I have seen have around 50-70k on them them. Is there much I should be looking for on a car of this age/mileage? Are the chassis problematic, drivetrain/gearbox woes? I appreciate that a well serviced & maintained car is a must, but I am wondering about anything in particular to look for?

Have a browse through here as this topics been covered a lot ( not meaning to be rude - just helpful) main things at this age are chassis. get under it and see if its rotten, then you can start worrying about everything else.
