Ah that oriental southern port, Hay-Ling Island.
Righty ho, had a drive in a Cerbera many years ago when it first came out, when the TVR guys came to Aberdeen, been to the factory,(fantastic visit), thats it, so what is the thing you post here?

I never did the visit, we always said we would then a schoolboy closed the doors and that was that!Righty ho, had a drive in a Cerbera many years ago when it first came out, when the TVR guys came to Aberdeen, been to the factory,(fantastic visit), thats it, so what is the thing you post here?

What is this thing, this pearl of great price, this Utopian jewel that will transform my Cerbera ownership?
Will leave you in suspense for a while - I've got a Pistonheads sticker here, free to the first correct answer

Hay-Ling! I knew we should have put up some border control.

Red anodising will almost certainly make the car go faster...
You need to be quick if you want me to drag your Cerbera to have that fitted, Land Rover to be sold in the next few days.
Thanks Ben, I think I'm sorted now. It's going somwehere pretty local, there's a guy offered his trailer and vehicle, or I may just bleed it one more time, and make a dash for it.You need to be quick if you want me to drag your Cerbera to have that fitted, Land Rover to be sold in the next few days.

Do these actually stop the leaking? I thought the problem was the heat in that area killing the seals, will it not do the same to this unit.
I've asked lots, and those that seem to have them fitted say they have had no more problems. I've got to try something as it's driving me nuts currently so hopefully my research will bear out the fact.Sorry to shift, albeit temporarily, the conversation to the technical side
BUT
I was talking to a Guy who "Knew all about these things" and he said that the seals blew (?!) because of the incompatibility (and therefore oxidisation) on the surfaces of the original unit (i.e. Steel and Alloy).
The all Alloy RP Unit, I was further told, removes this incompatibility and, therefore, seal degradation.
'Tis a thing of beauty though
