Red Rose Upgrade

I understand that TVR Power are now offering up grades to Red Rose spec for standard 4.5s. Has any one had this work done and if so what is the verdict?

Mine is being done right now and I have also managed to find a set of tuscan racer carbon inlet pipes which should nicely finish it off ,David

I've had this done. Got it done through the factory (but turned out that the work was done through TVR Power.) By complete coincidence, I bumped into Dom, the guy from TVR power shortly after the work was done - top bloke.

Power delivery is much smoother. I don't seem to have the black spot around the 3,750 rev range anymore. Seems a bit quicker too, but hard to tell as I'm still running it in...

I got a funky RON selector switch too (I tell people it's a turbo boost button). But this doesn't get used much as my nearest garage does Optimax

I think I was the first to get it done on a used engine - it was back at the factory a couple of years ago. Extra 50bhp (to 400), smoother, more responsive. Think it cost 4k, but they replaced other part worn stuff, e.g. the semi charred purple pipes.
