Anybody up for a Midlands Bonfire night meet?

Noticed that the White Hart (of first Tuesday classic car meet fame) are doing some fireworks. Obviously destination up for discussion if anybody else is interested.

The one at the White Hart would be easy & convenient for most I would imagine.

I'm in.

Do we know if there's a fee, or if we have to book? Or even what time it starts?

Right just spoke to the White Hart and there is no entry fee and fireworks start at 7pm. Don't think there will be a BBQ but he will be doing a curry apparently.

Well I had a good evening.
Hot dog and burger,
1st we watched the impressive display from a nearby house,
then the ones from Alfreton/Ripley,
then the White hart's own display, which was good, but could have traded quantity for quality a little,
then the one from South Wingfield,
all from the same location! hehe

Maybe the ideal is somewhere between the White Hart and Oban's idea of a firework display... hehe

We had a good time. Not sure about the endurance style fireworks display though.
