I haven't got any gold watches or any containing gold in the colour scheme.

Having seen CommanderJameson's lovely new purchase I am tempted by the black/gold version:

What else could I consider of a similar nature? I don't want anything TOO 'blingy'.

In terms of cost, I've already bought a JLC and a 38 year old Omega in the last couple of months so the wife won't be too impressed if I go mad, hence the attraction of the Tissot.

Any thoughts?

Thanks in advance.

I really like these too, but that black on white date wheel would drive me mad with the black face.

Sorry I'm not sure what else to suggest.

Ah, well, depends how much the wife really is likely to go mad if you just tell her it was only £200. wink

I bought a Hamilton Jazzmaster Viewmatic and I absolutely love it. I often find myself favouring it over my others. Picked it up brand new for a bargain £250 after a mistake by Ernest Jones (HA!).
