Anyone willing to view a car for me? Aberdeen

Hi all.

A Classic Impreza in the very spec I have been looking for has come up for sale in Aberdeen.

Fantastic - except I am over 500 miles away, so would most likely have to get a flight to come and collect the car. However, I don't want to make that commitment blind!

Do we have anyone in the area with any Impreza knowledge who would be willing to inspect the car for me and give me feedback on the condition/drive (for a modest reward )?

Sure there'll be someone along shortly with the knowledge to help, but if not, why don't you give Brian Downie at Kemnay a call. He's an impreza specialist - I'm sure for a charge he would give the car an inspection for you. Would need the owner to drive out to his premises though. Just an idea.

As it turns out the owner bought the car from Brian Downie. I've spoken to them and they are willing to give the car the once over.

If not, he might be up for doing a small favour in return for Tennent's Lager and you promising to join SIDC.
